As I watched my kids play with geoboards, I realized that a large portion of any Geometry course could be taught using this hands-on math manipulative. Based on my experience as a former Geometry teacher, I created a lapbook built around a set of geometry activities that could be used by students at multiple grade and ability levels. Students can understand and learn fundamental math concepts using a very hands-on “toy” combined with fun, creative, organized activities that go beyond a typical worksheet or textbook. Read more…
