Ten Frame Game

This fast-paced winter themed Math game will have kids adding and subtracting as they race to fill their ten frame. Collect snowflakes but watch out for ice storms, snow storms, the wind, and worst of all ... the sun!

This is a "forever freebie." It is listed in my TPT store. You can see the full description with previews and reviews here

On Monday I will link the actual file directly to the image here.

After Monday you can still collect this free gift at my TPT store here.

Ten Frame Math Picture Puzzle.

This picture puzzle set is a fun way to practice addition and subtraction facts through hands-on manipulatives (ten frames) and a cut-and-paste activity.

Kids will first solve the problems and write the equations, then find the pictures with the correct answer for each space to construct the puzzle.

On Tuesday, this free activity will be linked to the image; the rest of the week you can find a set of 3 picture puzzles at my TPT store here for 20% off.

Math For Fun activity Unit (one week sample)

These interactive, hands-on, real world Math activities help kids explore time in a new and engaging way.

Through "bite-sized" daily activity prompts, students will explore time-related concepts by learning how to read a clock, translating 12-hour to 24-hour time, looking into time zones, creating sundials and water clocks, finding time as it relates to distance, thinking through what a light-year means, tracking daily schedules and answering questions about elapsed time, adding and subtracting units of time, exploring fun, related ideas like finding patterns in Roman numerals and designing numbers for digital clocks, and more!

On Wednesday, a free sample of this unit will be attached to the image. Any other day, you can find the full unit in my TPT store here or the complete, growing bundle here.

4

Interactive, digital, self-grading task cards.

Kids will learn to recognize every number from 11-20 as ten plus something more, then practice adding numbers in ten frames with sums from 11-20.

Then they will practice rearranging addition sentences in ten frames so that the first ten frame gets filled up with ten items.

A demonstration card introduces this concept through a brief video tutorial.

Every card includes voice instructions to help students follow along.

For each of these addition cards, they can move the pieces around to rearrange the ten frames, fill in the blank for the number left over in the second ten frame, and choose the correct answer for the addition sentence.

On Thursday, this will be listed for free in my store; any other day you can see my collection of Boom cards here

* ONE WEEK FREEBIE: You can use this fastplay link to use this activity for free for this week. (No login required.) *

BONUS FREEBIE: Get your Ten Frame Place Value activity set here. (This will make a lot more sense when you watch the video here.)

Multiplication and Division Board Game

Kids can practice multiplying, dividing, and finding factors of larger numbers through fun, unique game play rather than using worksheets.

This is one of several Math games in a larger course on developing number sense using ten frames and an abacus. (See more information on the large "Math Facts course" button below.)

On Friday, this game will be linked to the image; any other day you can find it in my TPT store here (20% off this week).
